I've shaved everything door handles, bit round top of tray, tailgate, bumpers at back and will b welding gate shut looks so smooth :$

if its going to be a show/nice car then why would u eva need a tail gate to open ? i welded mine up and lov the look and the extra bracing it add to the car .

each to thier own... if i had a 1200 ute id shave it weld the gate shut, tub it fuel cell and fuel pump set up shorten the diff put some fat wheels on it make it look tough but of course then u need a tough engine to match

im with hotrocket, shave the handles dont weld it up, there will be times when you wish you could drop the tailgate.

Nothing is a straight bolt on fit so use whatever you like. Commodore, Falcon, anything. You could probably even use a lever style off a Ranger, Hilux, etc.
