I use UPOL primers and seam sealers. autoglaze's top of the range clear and I cant remember the name of the base U use... about $100 per litre for the base coat and it covers very well. Upol primer filler with hardener and reducer was around the $100 for 4l and clear was like $170 for a 3L Pack.

all 2 pack

$3500 is for national show-winning paint. HOK is not just high-quality. It is for kustom, one of a kind paint jobs.

When I was a kid a friend of my dad's had his car painted with that. When he visited all the neighborhood kids lined up to look over that car. It was a kind of candy apple green.

$3500 just on products for a mini truck seems WAAAY too expensive even for Dupont which is priced right up there with PPG, Spies, RM Diamont, etc...

Do your homework, research some paint forums for products being used in AU & I'm sure you can find some high quality stuff w/o paying for brand name recognition. Even at $200 / qt. ifg its 1 to 1 mix, thats $800 for 2 gallons of sprayable base material, its unlikely you'll need that much nor pay that much. I was quoted $180 qt. for orange in Dupont & PPG.

If you can find Pro Spray in AU buy it, very high quality but way less money.

keep looking & good luck.

H.O.K while im sure its great, it a bit of wank factor in my opinion. Automotive paint is expensive enough already.

the better options are ppg, concept paints, debeer. House of kolor is great but very very expensive, but with h.o.k you have too follow the procedures exactly.
Depending on where your situated there is many options available
