Hi Thom,

All A12s are designed to properly atomize the fuel. Different models and years used different methods but they all work well.

Snow fields are no problem for a stock A12. If your friend has actual problems with this, then he or a mechanician needs to figure out why. Is some part worn out, or did someone remove parts from the engine? Some people remove parts, mistaking them for "emissions only" and then wonder why it doesn't get the same good fuel economy or all-weather performance.

Glad to hear you got the electrical problems sorted.

There is a water-heated intake manifold, they are from 1981 and newer B310 Sunny. They use a 3-bolt down pipe.

There are no water-heated exhaust manifolds, as it seems the engine exhaust alone heats them quite well.
