1200 with auto tunnel needs no mods for a shorty L16 4-speed. Use the stock auto crossmember.

you got a 4 speed...really?
you know 5 speeds really arent hard to find or expensive for L series right?

what exactly is the question?

Has anyone used a stanza 4 speed and 1600 crossmember for an L series conversion into a 1200?

are you trying to fit it to auto or manual 1200 tunnel mounts? as they are quite different i believe

being that most people make up custom mounts i somewhat doubt that anyone has used that combo and not given a decent amount of info about it

is the height right for what? it depends on where you have the engine and gearbox sitting for any height to be referanced to any other height

from my experience of L series>1200 conversions there was pretty much nothing that fitted without being modified

has anyone used this for an L series conversion? got it from the wreckers because the 4 speed stanza box is very very similar looking and feeling to a 1600 box. looks like i have to cut the ends down and rerill holes.
is the height right and is there anything else that fits without mods?
cheers, Marc1200
