I agree Aidan, but I want to do things by the book. I'd rather fork out $200 to get it engineered and roadworthied, than fork out $500 for a fine, $400 for a towtruck, $200 for engineering, and $500 to re-register it.

the only reason an A should need engineering is if it's pumping out the number Datsun100ATurbo is getting!

A mate told me that Australian Automatics and Ken Day's Auto Repairs do conversions in Bundaberg and he guessed it would cost 200 all up for mod plate and RWC

The A15 is already in the ute and I want the car on the road ASAP, CBF messing around with crossmembers and control arms and tailshafts and.....my head hurts already just thinking about it!!!! Can't you just put an L series in it later on anyway? or do the mod plates in QLD specify engine number on them?

Bakat, It means Road worthy certificate which every car needs in OZ to be able to be registered or if you buy a new car and it hasnt been tested by previous owner. Its a one time thing for every new owner.
Sam, if you are going to engineer an engine you might as well get an L series or LN2 2.2 chevy four ;)

Im going to suggest that it happens to be a mob that does mod plating and is in qld. It answers one of the questions directly! Quote: Suggestions on where in QLD this can be done (suggestions in Bundaberg even better)?
