yes you will definately need a aftermarket ecu and tune!.. the ID injectors are from injector dynamics as 1200ute said, i also havnt heard anything on wether they are the the same or very similar to the bosch ones.
The ID oinjectors have been engineered to be able to produce the same idle qualities and tunability as stock injectors.

There is a vid on youtube with a stock honda civic in the states with ID1000's, its obviously been retuned but it runs just as smooth as the stocker!.. no other injector manufacturer can claim that. Ill be using 4x ID2200's on my engine

CA's use 11mm injectors. ID is injector dynamics, I haven't seen anything concrete that the ID injector are exactly identical to the Bosch injectors. You'll need to order injector that are the correct length and impedance to suit the CA unless you are going with a custom fuel rail and aftermarket ecu. Here is injector dynamics website http://www.injectordynamics.com/

if changing injecter size from std u need to remap the computer
dont mater wot size u use as long as it will flow enough
to supply the motor
the bigger the injecter the harder it is to get a good clean idle
dont go to big if not needed

id use ID1000's, plenty of flow for future upgrades/boost levels. cheap purchase price (search the US ebay!)and just as easy to tune as smaller more expensive injectors

definately upgrade the injectors!.. the stock ones are only good for around stockish power levels.

If you can keep the fuel up to it and the engine is put together properly you should be able to run some decent boost. As with any engine though its all in the tune, have a #OOPS# tune and the engine will last 5 mins.

Hi pigdog as i mentioned before were going to prep the crank, block and head, forged pistons good rods some cams etc etc what sort of psi do u think i am going to be able to pump through it max that is.Also do u think its worth putting some bigger injectors in it as i have heard that the stock ones can lean out.

Mcdat, if you think a statesman with a 308 goes pretty well, maybe go for a drive in a 1200 with a stock ca in it...they are a lot faster than your average commodore with a mild v8, a lot faster

My sedan left my mates sr turbo 180sx for dead at any speed and held its own against an s13 with a worked sr. all mine had was a decent exhaust, front mount and a slightly better than stock tune, still using stock injectors, turbo and 7psi boost

I built the need engine for the wagon and plan to have around 180rwkw, which I think will be stupidly quick and probably just leave me with a whole heap of traction issues
