Well after raiding my collection of new front end bushes, ball joints etc (intended for ute) we have everything back in bar one castor rod and the maddat sway bar awaiting paint to dry on castor. Also got 4 new 185/60/14 tyres on pintara stockers and am waiting on new chrome dress rims from ebay. Now for a couple of rust repairs and rip out dash and put one in with less cracks as well as mod a rectangular fascia to go around the silvia cluster. Also tidied up some wiring in the engine bay and put a few grommets in the firewall.

Thanks. Had to reschedule engineer since bluebird rear disc handbrake shoes are no longer available. We sent them 100k down the road to get re bonded and wont have them back till next Friday. So after discovering that some butcher had shortened the stanza struts in it and welded a sleeve over them as well, they also had welded the insert locking nut in and shagged the inserts. We have now got 1200 struts with H/D springs new inserts And the CA brake setup with Stanza LCA's, Late Ute Steering Arms and painted some Pintara stockers matt black and got new 185/60/14's on them. Will get the maddat swaybar in and 120y castors should sit a bit lower. We welded two spring caps together, the bottom one have the centre hole filed out to allow it to go over the insert which assures the spring stays captive. Just hope it isn't the reason its sitting a little higher than I had in mind, but the rest of the bits and a drive will reveal that.

Extended the wiring to the fuel tank today so it can neatly run through the gap between boot floor and rail with the other wiring. All soldered heat shrunk and re taped. Then made a brace for the battery clamp rods which i tacked to the floor and then to the rods, Nice and sturdy now. Also tried out another set of wheels on the rear they are 14's with 205/60's on them and have mega clearance all around on the inner guard and about an inch and a half off the leaf spring. Going to go 195/50's on them should look good.
