Yeah it would be excellent! I'm going to talk to one of my mates in the metal work buiss and see if he can roll that shape in aluminum. So ill report back and see if he can or not. I would assume custom hot rod joints as such would be able to do them.

I'd love for someone on here to fabricate some for a group sale for a bit cheaper. If I had the equipment I'd do it myself as mine are wrecked too!

yeah righto thanks mate! At least i now know about these but JEBUS i dunno about 100 odd dollars plus postage on top (20-40$) for a pair of aluminium strips haha. thanks for your help though much appreciated!

Hi guys after some help.
My ute is coming up to finishing stage and ive got a few more things to finish up. I need a the two aluminium strips that are placed over the top of the sills in behind the door. They sit over the carpet too i believe, my ones are just about completely wrecked and bent, they loook real shabby haha.
Next is what type of paint i should use in order to paint my engine block? is there any prefered paint to withstand the heat better?
any feedback welcome!
