Here is the list of datto's of the most active members.

Davoo - Datsun B10 - Almost ready
Andy-roo - Datsun B10 - Ready with a small ignition problem
Stu - 1200 sedan driving, 1200 ute engine upgrade
Dan - 1200 ute driving
Rhys - 1200 ute driving
Dale - 1200 sedan driving
me - 2 Datsun B10 one driving one awaiting exhaust (both waiting for historic rego approval).

There are lots of other members but we haven't caught up in a while (Dale (another dale), Matto, Sean, Mark, then there's members I haven't ever cruised with, Adam, Jeremy, SRB210, SRB310, SNY120 etc etc, heaps more around).

I would say that apart from that first list there are around 20-30 or so owners scattered around the place. When do you guys get here? Cruise time.

Safe? 500kg is safe for short or long body.

The chassis can handle 500 kg (including driver) no worries. It will take longer to stop and to accelerate, so drive carefully.

Stock suspension feels better when riding on the bump stops (aprox 500-600kg's of green wood).

Now that I've got new shocks I don't put more than 400kg's of gravel/sand on it and I carry 50kg's of tools so probably 450 total. You can feel it on the brakes down hill but otherwise no worries.

Rated at half tonne (500kg) but would suggest only about 400kg.
Have had about 800kg of wood in mine several times but not real smart.
Took a 351 ford engine and 2 gearboxes to Melbourne (160klm) once and did it easy.
