thanks

thanks Bigd --suppose i was expecting to much --maybe it's this 1400 uno turbo i have, man this thing f%%$^ off.don't need no encouragement and it's stock standard.Engine is great but the body is a rust experiment in progress --got it since '92 still going.Another thing is the builder said he is not gonna go heavy on the motor cos then i can come back & go turbo.Bigd i would like to ask you about the heat.the motor is running at 100[temp].Now there are 2 heat sensors, 1 for the motor &1 for ecu.How can i get this down[temp]work temp[71-88]? heard about hole in t/stat-bigger etc.any idea

I've just had a safe tune done last week on my A14 turbo running 8psi and it made 102Hp at the wheels. I was dissapointed till i drove it home. the power to weight is on our favour bigtime.
I will have it re-tuned after a few adjustments i need to do, including more boost with a dual stage boost controller and a few other upgrades.
Keep in mind its a small motor, Drive a std datsun then get in yours. I built mine to cruise and have some fun, if i was after quater mile machine or big Hp i would build a 2L turbo.

Keep us posted

That's good HP for a A15. I wish I would have known what my built A15 put out before I added a supercharger and nitrous. Ended up smoking the motor but it did last a couple of hard years. Im guessing I pumped 200hp out of it with all the crap I added.

D I am no good with pics but i'll get s/one to give me a hand later. This is a car that was going to the road but i did not like the spray job and the bonnet vent so decided for the track.runs a bit hot [100]but i'm confused cos dyno chappie told me to get corsa sensor but i read a few articles on here--other members had the same prob.Still want to get a sleeve kit from otomoto and things should be ok.back to the heat gauge--one for engine in normal position & 1 in rear of head[heater ent] for ecu.So got to sort some things. Will make a plan with pics
