Interesting also how it doesn't run any fan to minimise hp lose.i guess the air through the front while racing on the track is enough to cool it down running high revs.

Also the water pump belt is interesting as compared to a stock a12 engine bay which has a belt to the alternator.

unfam... i think a lot of people would put it back to the heater connection that existed on the passenger side at front of motor (bottom radiator hose)... i did ages ago when i bypassed a heater

in the vid they have put it to top radiator hose. this is the hose flowing into the radiator, i.e. for hot water to be cooled. i'm just realising putting it to the bottom radiator hose means your sending hot water from the back of the motor back through the water pump and into the front of the motor without passing through the radiator to cool...

i guess the effects on overall cooling may be negligible with a decent cooling system, but interesting to think about none the less

So bypassing the heater hose from back of head to cooling system inlet pipe is the way to go then. Worked on all my a series

Interesting... O noticed that in the 1st video, approx 1:16 in one of them squeezes out a long fart. I thought that was the funniest bit.

the thing i picked up from that was that he was explaining that if the heater hoses are just blocked off (when not running a heater) the back section of the head/motor will over heat.
