the steering wheel does look like something that would be in a toyota, honda, nissan etc etc, but thats the wrong interpretation of "JDM" Hahaha

Yes, I believe that is correct. The running light is only part of the front Combintation Lamp.

Since both USA and JDM front lamp is all-orangey, to further tell the difference between look at the back... they are functionally different.

And of course a Japan-market 1200s is more than just the lights. Reportedly some JDM 2-door sedans were brought into AUS by members of the consulate.
