yer it 10 links from dot on the camshaft sproket to dot on the crank sprocket.
and yes its a standard cam

easily way; 10 links from dot to dot, water pump side. dot to be in middle of first link(cam gear dot) then count 10 to the next middle(crank gear dot)link.
