I used Diff Technics to build a 9 inch for my falcon a few years back- did good work but were pretty exxy and ended up taking 2-3 months for a basic rebuild and ratio change.

Hope the helps

Cheers

I have before, and they are ok... I do like the work dome by DiffTrans out at Windsor though. Con from Diff Technics learned the trade from Diff Trans when he worked for them, when they were located at Greeenacre.

More recently I have had all my diff work performed by D&R Diff at chipping norton. They did a great job with re-alignment of the diff housing for my track car. [laser allignment method]. The process included straighting of the housing to dead straight, then alligned to my request of 3/4 degrees neg camber and 3mm toe. Pricing was extremely fair.

I've got a detroit locker centre I want to swap into my H190. I'm not confident doing it myself even tho it appears very simple. I wouldn't know what to do if I ran into something I couldn't identify etc. I have called around and had varying quotes from 180 with diff out of the car to 800 drive in, drive out from a 4x4 shop!!

Diff Technics have come in with the cheapest drive in drive out price - pending what 'else' might need replacing when they open it up. I have spoken to Richard at Craft Diffs near Parra which is a close 2nd regarding price. I had a mate get his R31 done there and when he drove out of the shop his rear left wheel came off 30 metres from the garage, sitting on the rotors! Richard seems a reasonable guy but has absolute knobs working for him. Some clown walked away from the phone after I told him exactly what I had, what I needed done and all I wanted was a price. He walks away from the phone yelling to Richard that there is "some retard on the phone with a locker for a Datsun!" What a c0ck! I gave him a serve and then told him to let me speak to Richard. Clown!

So end rant. Anyone used Kon at Diff Technics?

Cheers.
