I've used a digital guage with my sr conversion ( pics in build thread) as you said just need tailshaft magnet pickup . Works so far just have to calibrate it when it's on the road shortly :)

that sounds promising. they aren't that expensive and might be easier than stuffing around with the whole dash. i wonder if the pushbike ones would pass roadworthy ??????

I used to use a push bike spedo on front strut and on rim! Never had a problem with it!

has anyone use the digital electronic speedo's before. there are a few different ones on ebay. i was thinking of mounting the sensor on a bracket by the tails haft and the other side of the sensor on the tails haft ?????? the s13 cluster in my wagon is playing up and i would rather put another speedo in than remove the whole dash and replace the other one to find out its something else. any ideas or suggestions.
