If it is indeed a Nissan K Engine, note that the K25 is only 60 hp. Not a great choice for a car, as it is heavy with low power.

K25 is the Applied Model Code for 1974 710 Coupe. Which were fitted with both L16 and L18 engines in Japan.

The cast numbers are casting numbers. They don't tell what size the engine is. The engine ID will be stamped.

As previously stated it "should be stamped on the lhs of the engine on a machined area between #3 and #4 cylinders". Or under 2&3 (center of engine block).

Have you looked there? Under the grease?

I only have the bare block and the only numbers I can find on it are the K25 4220A and yes...they are cast not stamped. Would there be more numbers somewhere else I am missing???

To clarify, if it is an L18, it will be stamped "L18".

K25, etc is probably not stamped but cast -- is that what you see?
