I think in the USA and other parts of the world thats what they call the two alloy(or are they stainless) pieces of folded sheet that sit on top of the bottom rail of the door opening - I think we sometimes call them the sill channels or sill trims or something like that.

Hey guys im selling my 1200 coupe that i used for parts. its missing diff, tail shaft, gearbox and few bits and pieces. all panels are there but rust is in doors, guards and bonnet i think the body has a small amound in rear quarters and thats about it! no rust in floor pans of fire wall.
Not sure whats its worth $$ so give me some offers I DONT WANT TO PART OUT ANYTHING JUST WANT IT GONE! cheers lads. Nick
