I agree that its unlikely a finance company would have any interest in Morris.

Revs check won't save you if car is encumbered if you've put a deposit on it or you bought it.

Modern vin system didn't come into Australia until 1988 I think from memory so prior will need manuāl checking with revs (call them)

Unlikely it encombered as most finance wouldn't hold and old car like this as security.

Nice score hope uts got Datsun running gear. I regret not buying one that had a fiat 2 lt engine conversion. Nice cars for British stuff

A morris minor will not have a vin, same as 70's Dattos. It will have a chassis number and an engine number.
You will need to call the REVS telephone number.

Hey guys, I know this is a Datsun site but I have had a soft spot for Morris minors for awhile and I found a good Morris ute that popped up and had to look at it. I looked at it today and it's in very good
Nick for a 50s car I was wondering if anyone knows how to do a revs check ? I have tried on the Internet but I find it weird how on the vin plate the number is 112462/2764 and on the Rego paper it's just 2764 it's not working on there site anyone have a suggestion or experience with this?
