You can fit a h150 center into a h145 housing with a 2mm spacer b projects sell. Usually $80 or so off eBay.

So your 120y had a h145 originally?

So now you either need a h150 manual tail shaft or at least the diff flange end of one and getting it mated to your tail shaft.

Should have tried to source a bw68 from a 120y, stronger and tail shaft usually has replaceable uni joints

Good luck with it.

Sure they are both the same? H150 afaik have the same flange, auto or manual, h145 was different snd h165 looks larger but h150 shaft bolts up ok.

Hey guys sorry for another thread, I went to Sydney today and got another diff for my car. Now I had a manual Japanese diff ( the center comes from the front) and picked up an auto one... I know the flanges on the front are different coz they are sitting in front of me and I can swap the flanges over due to the auto diff being bigger in size. My question is will the actuall diff gears from the auto fit into the manual housing? Or should I just cut the manual and auto tail shafts and make it fit?

Cheers
