do the 120y struts use a cartridge insert that you change with a smaller height or are the the rebuildable oil type ones?

can you get cartridges in different heights?

120y struts are 45mm, and yeah thats a better attitude , youll need shorter shocks and cut down struts to achieve a good low height similar to this, and the only problem is that 45mm is a hard size to find shocks for but im sure you can dig something up with a bit of research

I might save up for some coilover sleeves and just put in blocks in the rear with new shocks and see how it rides if not il get them reset.

any idea what size the font struts are in a 120y 41mm?

Thanks!

#OOPS# yeah you feel every bump, the wheel bounces up into the well, and the rear was very bouncy, i cut my stock springs pretty much in half, and was never pulled over by cops, they actually drive next to me and give me the thumbs up most of the time, the thing is, if you do something right , you wont have problems, i think you can also get your local suspension shop to cut you some springs, i think they get stiffer springs and cut them so its not and floppy in the front. but if you drop the front of your car you have to drop the back other wise youll get some weird drag stance happening. a good start would be to invest in some good shocks.

EDIT: the picture is with the cut springs, i ride it a bit higher now to allow for more travel in the shock

how much did you cut of the stock springs? is that the pic of the coilovers or with cut springs?
also im guesing it not legal height do cops realy pull you over for it? when you go that low does the car start to bounce more like you feel every bump?

Thanks!

lol, i got mine that low with cut springs, bit of an un-comfy ride but it got there, got coilovers now, good investment with some short shockies and stiff springs, and your also going to either have to flip the springs or put lowering blocks in or have them reset, but remember the lower the car is , the more uncomfy the ride is
