Anywhere to recomend taking a spare head for future swap over? So they can do the ports? Guessing it's a specialized job- not for a hack
Like me and a dremmel lol

the smother the flow the better
fuel some times likes a step it helps keep the fuel off the walls and keeps it atomised
gas you want mirror finish in the inlet ports
its a gas not a liquid it stays atomised
you will get a lot of turbulance at the step wich will slow the flow down( choke it)
put a taper on the ports to match

Manifold port query- lpg related
Guest_
I was looking at my manifold and the head pictures and realise the ports of the manifold are larger than the head inlet ports (34-36mm to head 30mm).
Will this step- not ideal- cause any major dramas with reverberation of the pulses?

I know lpg is more forgiving than petrol with flow- and I'm not planning on changing anything- just curious as it ran ok with the stock l series manifold (had a similar step between them too but only 1or 2 mm all round)
