Generally automatic translators do fairly well on regular everyday speech, but they almost 'all' fall down when it comes to highly technical terms.And it can happen the other way, we call guards guards (or fenders, or whatever) in english - it's possible and auto translator would think by guard they meant security guard, or body guard, or whatever, so it is easy to see how it becomes almost indecipherable.
