My 1200 took me on a 1,200 km trip this week. Went down the oregon coast and back to Seattle. No breakdowns, but the alternator stopped working and I had to swap my spare on there today. I was only an hour from home at night, so the battery lasted till I got home. Cheap remanufactured alternator junk. Next time I'll get genuine Nissan, not a reman unit.

Mine took me about a metre forward in the shed but its getting closer to rego. Just gotta fit my nicely made kick panels and speakers throw the elctronic dizzy in it and put a kit through the carby and off for wheel alignment on rebuilt front end and then rego.

i had the chance to test the strength of my 1200 ute when it slid backwards into a ditch and rolled onto its roof

i for one am putting a cage in the next one ! there an awesome car but i dont wanna die in one !

and having it tied down realy tightis good for cornering but no good when you hit a bump on a slight bend in the road at speed in the wet

horrible feeling sliding backwards then hearing my car getting crushed !

so i no longer can drive my datto to work :( at least its only the shell and not the drivetrain that got hurt!
