On my rego papers it has the tare weight at 690kg. When I did my conversion the ACT rego people said that they take the weight of the heaviest model in the range which is the wagon at 720kg (720 x 2.5 = 1800). just ring the rta, it'll save a heap of rumors.

It's not official at all. It's what Ange measured for his ute.

The "official" measurement that the state cares about is usually either the published tare weight or the Engineer's measurement.

If 730Kg for a ute is the official original kerb side weight then at the regulations (times 2.5) a CA18DET at 1809cc would just fit into the guidelines.

How official is 730Kg's ?? - what does the roads authority say ?

Ange had his weighed pre-conversion. It was 730kg.

Ute: 730kg (one example measured)
Coupe is 750kg (manual)
Sedans are 696-741 kg

It all depends on how much fuel, and if using stock components. Plus options like carpet, tranmission type, etc.

Quote:
whats the exact height off a ute
Height: 1395 mm

That's the nominal/official height with the stock 12" tires.
