Damn this'd work so much better if you could find a 32DFE or a 32/36DFV carby off an English Ford Escort. The main throttle shaft is the one on the left (closest to the camera). I sort of use your idea in reverse with my 32DFE. Go with what you've got & don't forget to make sure you're getting full throttle when the pedal is on the floor. I keep reminding myself I'll have to checl thaat soon.

Would it be possible to get a late model Nissan Micra, fit the 1.8 litre motor from a Tiida & then turbocharged it? Your answer must include parts numbers for the conversion. You have 12 months. Commence.
