There not 2 bad a motor and not sure about the na version but the turbo sr has a weak block due 2 being alloy. Ive heard of it twisting so much the crank wouldnt spin with nothing attached to it. In saying that i dont know how common a problem that would be. The ca is a much stronger block and basicly the same conversion if u where thinkin of doing it. It would all depend on price and quality of the motor. If ur getting it dirt cheap then why not stick it in. Plus there replaceable if it does go majorly wrong. Thats my 2 cents worth

Hi guys as the title says, I have a chance on picking up a good N/A SR20. And I am thinking about putting it into my ute, I was wondering what everyones thoughts are on this motor as far as performance, installation, and any good or bad experiences?
I have been doing some browseing on the forum and sofar they sound pritty good.
It will come with a ecu but still unclear what other mods will need to be done.
Thanks Andy
