the standard afm just wouldnt flow enough air to make more power. so it will just stop making power, it shouldnt lean out

probably wont gain any power going a larger turbo on the same boost, as the t25 should have still been efficient at 7psi

common afm to use is a 300zx one, slightly larger than an rb25 one i think. then you will needto get the ecu tuned to suit

Hey guys I've just installed my T28 of a s14/15 not sure on which one, I was reading somewhere that the stock ca18 afm can only handle 180-190hp not sure if it's true, my point is that I was running 136kwatw on the rundown stock t25 on 7psi which would be around 180hp, I've got custom manifold, 3inch turbo back, 600 x 300 fmic, bov, walbro pump n tank

With this upgrade on stock boost, what ever t28 are, will I gain anymore power? And if I do gain more my afm is out of hp range? Will it lean out, will I need to get a rb25 maf, and how about ecu? Will it also be okay? On stock psi

I will jump the boost up oneday but when I can get a standalone ecu

Thanks guys

If anyone has done this from experience your knowledge is appreciated?
