Datsun 1200 & 120Y use heavy-duty bearings to start with -- same ones are used by 520/620 pickups! Back the bearings and adjust them correctly and they will last forever.

And S13 brakes only change the offset 7mm, so not a lot.

These brackets are nice but no one seems to take into account the wheel bearing loading. I would only using them on the 120Y/pbr struts with the bigger bearings.
The extra breaking forces combined with wider wheels and different offsets can quickly eat bearings. I like Datsuns on the road not on the side of the road with 3 wheels.

I reckon I'll just use the 120y M/C and booster.

How do you guys rate the 250mm discs for track work?
I want to stick with 13's for my sunny excellent replica but from what I can find they ran Girling 4 spot calipers which I am guessing will be pretty much unobtainable.

120Y studs have 13.0 mm knurl with 10mm shoulder
S13 studs have 12.83 mm knurl with 14mm shoulder

S13 studs will fit the 120Y hub, go in and center properly. They are approximately 13mm longer, which is needed because the rotor face goes over the hub.
