D21 is usually H190 but some are BW and H230 the Nissan monsters

8 inch Ford diff have now 3rd party alloy carriers available.

D is the H190 the one in the D21 Navara? If so, what about the 4x4 Nav, Pathfinder and import Terrano?

H190 with alloy centre works out well for weight and enough strength for around 250hp atw but LSD options are rare.
Mini spools and detroit lockers available in the states for around 300-600usd.

Wouldn't a Navara diff be about the same weight a Hilux?? Not sure about Scorpion diffs, but I know the Aussie built Galants used the same Borg Warners as the Centuras. Bullet proof behind a Saturn 1600, they were!
A few years back I had a KE37 Corolla Coupe/2TG circuit car project and the guru who was advising me recommended an early Liteace diff for their light weight, ability to handle 150-180hp and their deliciously short 5:11 ratio!
Try finding one though...
There's always the Corona too...

What about 720 diffs or scorpion diffs.
We run hillclimb/circuit cars and ute axles are starting to break
We are trying to get away from a hilux because of weight.
Anyone know anything about these to diffs?????
