I accept commo BW animosity too, aloof go to your bounded abeyance abode and get longer/wider Ubolts. I aloof had to enlarge 2x rear holes in the ascent bowl to get them through. Also they gave me longer/deeper nuts

"any U bolt retaining plates that suit the shock setup"
I have just re-read your question. Have you modified the diff to suit 1200 mounting plates when you got it shortened? When I had mine shortened they also cut off all spring/shock mounts and recreated exactly as per 1200, so I used the original plates

Yes, U-bolts come in all shapes and sizes. Don't ask for a bolt for a specific car model at an automotive place. Just go to a bolt distributor and tell them what you want. They don't care what its for. If they have it they will get it. I got my U-bolts from Grainger Distributor and built the plates myself. Just be creative and innovative. Make it happen.

In Sydney you can call Dellow Automotive they sell the longer U bolt kits for Datto's. You can get the number on line or yellow pages.
