yes apparently CA18 bolts straight up to L series mounts and 120y already has holes drilled for L series mounts as it came with L series in Japan so its pretty straight forward in mounting it. id buy a 120y and put one in after he told me that but then he also told me 120y's have a 70/30 weight distribution and 1200's more like 50/50 so im still dreaming of putting one in a 1200 when i get some cash flow.

hey 120WHY guy my brother in law sent me this email to pass on to you "HI Dood I wanted to e-mail 120why about fitting a ca18 but cant find his address. The easy and best fix for him is to fit a stanza front end including the crossmember and the motor will drop straight in. Crossmember is a direct bolt in to a y as is the rest of the front end as y`s came out with L series motors in Japan.Use std y caster rods. Vannette diff with leaf pads replaced by y ones and moved in 25mm each side will be plenty strong enough and should just fit inside the gaurds of the wicked y.Also would suggest 2dr sedan for pure sex factor.Ifyou could forward this to him he can e-mail me for info on brakes and the like.
Tammy & Joe" if you want to email him back his email is "Joe90@free2air.com.au" but i suggest giving me a Message or email to tell me youve sent him an email and ill call him and tell him cause he doesnt check his email much
anyway good luck with your project
