you can see where the bluey setup was hitting - multiple places, i think coupes have the least clearance to chassis and such

i have since drilled the plates accurately and organised to have some bearing retainers welded in

we made a jig for drilling the backing plates if anyone else wants theirs drilled super accurate

If the shocks weren't in the way (ie coupe, wagon, or sedan) then the caliper could be rotated so that it cleared the inner wall of the wheel tub.

datsport use the wilwood mechanical park brake on their r32 rear brake setups for 1600s and baz was saying its not the nicest caliper to use because of something to do with the adjustment

a single handbrake will hold the car, but i would doubt its legalities for road use

willwood offer a simple park brake setup, I was thinking about going that route on one side to save the hassles. That offeres the question, will a small parkbrake hold a car on one wheel? going to have to ask some engineer friends I think

yep remember my old 2 stroker had such a setup. Im still looking at doing inboard disc setup with an IRS diff using Alfa discs and calipers handbrake setup myself.

Will be great to see your beast down south

RC. did you get prices on lowered springs most joints Ive checked do them for 90 a side if you supply them but did find one place that did them for 120 for both.

Benny lovely setup using Hoe calipers, how does the handbrake work or function on this setup?

RC I have the r31 setup on my also but clears much easier with small tubing on H145 and my
only guess is that the bigger tubing on the big H190 axles is the issues compared to h165?

No Handbrake, its for the track car only. Was thinking of adapting a rotor and caliper to the diff pinion like some early Suzuki 4WD [beit they are drum type] but the concept is the same.

I run a 12mm alloy block on my setup paired with near flat JTS springs [reverse eye etc]. Surely it cant be too different to your ride height RC. I will be down your way at Easter, can do a compare then if you like.
