It's tough to find a Datsun car in the south that isn't a Z. I'm still looking but by the end of February I will have something.

I doubt I could supercharge this and retain the AC

Now the fun part I have AC and living in the south I'd like to keep it. Very careful planning of exhaust routing has begun

Yes, the stock carb can handle at least 5 lbs boost with a hat.

But for boxed use it'll need an aftermarket non-brass float.

Jetting should be extra rich. Fuel pressure should be 2.5 lbs above boost.

A14
All my previous turbo builds were either draw through or efi so I have some questions on this subject. For starters can the stock carb handle boost? If not. What kind of jetting will I need in a weber? Keep in mind the carb will live inside a box that is pressurized by the turbo.

Nice! Do you have the A14 or A15 in your B310?

My experience with turbocharging has taught me that when properly sized a turbocharger will have fantastic response. I'm planing to use a T2 size turbo, probe GT intercooler and a weber dgav inside a custom box. I'm only hoping to see 130-150hp.

Turbo response will be dictated by compressor flow. Small exhaust housing will spool up super quick, just limit top rpm.

I say turbo easier cheaper to set up for only that psi gain.

Rc a15tt was no slouch down.low rpm. And that had good HP gains over stock.

Good. For ultimate power, use a turbo. For better throttle response, use a blower is the old rule of thumb.

There was a guy saying the 200SX swaybar fit the 210, but I don't know if he had to do any mods to it.

My plan is not for ultimate power just more everywhere. A smallish turbocharger pushing 7-8psi blowing through a carburetor should make for good response off boost and decent power on. Keep in mind this is an automatic car so response is already slow.
