Hi guys,

Sad reality is that I have been given a new job opportunity, however it means moving and the little ute won't be coming with me. Please read the attached advertisement and PM me (easier) with any questions in relation to it.

I have owned this ute since 2000 and its been a good ute. It was registered all the up until 2011 when I decided that I wanted to use it as a project car and thought a modern engine upgrade would be nice. As such, I went and bought all the bits and pieces, pulled the ute down and started making it fit. As the pictures show, I cut the transmission tunnel to fit the gearbox in, however I changed my mind and tried to go down a different path.

As tends to happen with projects, numerous mind changes and lack of time, I have now been given an opportunity to transfer with work and cant take it with me. It's been a tough decision to make, cause I've owned a Datsun since I was 16 and this will be the first time in 14 years I haven't had one!

INTERIOR:
As per the photos, I still have the original dash and some of the switches. It has black seats that could use a re-trim, but are nice and comfortable and fit in the ute well. There is no carpet in the interior, however there is extra ventilation via way of rust in the floor pan. I have tried to show this in the photos. There is Dynamat in the doors and 6x9 Alpine speakers in the door. This was connected to a CD player I had hidden in the glovebox, but has since been sold. I also have a set of new door rubbers and bailey channels.

EXTERIOR:
The paint on it is rough to say the least. Underneath this rough paint in some parts is a good couple of mm's of bog. The intention was strip it down to bare metal and re-do it, but I hadn't got that far into the project. The front guard is rusted and warped on the bottom corner near the drivers door and was a poor repair before I got it. There is rust just underneath the radiator panel also, as show in the pics. The standard bonnet has a dent just above the latch as the catch wasn't working properly when I got it and the previous owner used to lean hard on it to get it to close. I fixed the issue, but not the dent (character?).I have a fibreglass bonnet that I am willing to sell with the ute for an extra $250.

From behind the cabin to the rear is pretty straight and I couldn't find much in the way of repairs/bog. There is no tailgate as the previous one got damaged and not useable.Big bonus for the buyer is brand new lenses for the tail lights. I bought them from japan and cost me about $200 by the time I got them here. They are still in bubble wrap (as shown), plus 1600 guard indicators and 200B front indicator lenses. I also have new headlight buckets, but the originals will also be included.

DRIVELINE/SUSPENSION:
The ute still has the original diff/driveshaft and was still working when I pulled it off the road. I have new urethane torsion rod bushes that I also got from Japan. I have a pair of new lower ball joints that are still in their boxes and never made it to the shed. The ute is rolling on original 12" jellybean mags that had been painted red at some stage, but its pretty much all come off now.

OTHERS:
In the shed I also have:

1. a set of bolt-on fender flares. See attached link with them trial fitted to my ute. They are from a Mach III VW Golf but fit perfectly. SOLD

**************NEED PIC***************

2. A set of Magsport rims, 4 x 114, 2 x 14x7in +0 and 2 x 14x7.5 -6. I have been asked to sell these on a number of occasions, by Datsun owners and Toyota owners but was not willing to part with them. I love these rims and will also be off loading them. THESE ARE MAAAAD! $700 exc postage.

3. Bonnet in fibreglass (if not sold with ute). $300 exc postage.
