Got my number printed out and photo copied up to cams spec sizes then cut it out on paper and traced it out onto the back of the black contact.

Then cut it out and measured out the spacing onto the white background as per cams specs. Looks ok for under $10.

Every event I've attended has provided a A4 sized paper number that has peel away adhesive on the back. Or everyone passes around a shoe white thing to do your numbers on windscreen. Never paid extra for numbers. Always had to do our own battery triangle and contact over glass headlights.

Advised, but my cage should be fine too

did they say that had to be cams spec? or just use as a guide?

I just read the event regulations and emailed the scrutineer for datnats. Went by their advice and then read the cans regs for it.

cams spec? just print out your number and stick it in your passenger window
they need to give more than 48 hours notice if they expect everyone to have cams spec numbers

never seen the lpg sticker you speak of, but could be because of the lack of lpg track cars

Looking for decals for datnats I was looking at about $ 70 for k2 size cams spec decals. Being Lpg I need 2 additional decals reflective red with white lettering.

I went got the cams specs for the size font and specs

I typed the font and photocopied it larger to size.
For the white number backgrounder needs to be 500 x 500mm and the letters 50mm thick In black numbers.

Do off to KMart and 1 roll of black contact book adhesive 1 roll white and reject shop clear. $2 a roll.

$6 lol. Photo copy $1 and $2 for reflective red wrapping paper.

I traced the letters onto the contact but couldn't see the letters through the white. Easy tupprrware lid and a bright torch behind. Then cut it out. Stick the white to the red wrapping paper. Clear contact on top. Overhang of clear to stick it to car lol.









Will do same with numbers but no red backing. The white roll is 2m x450mm in size, easy as clear over top just over lap the white with 70mm x 500mm strips. That equals 500x 500mm white backings.

As numbers aren't allocated til 48hours before hand I just have all the photo copy numbers,ready just need to trace and cut then transfer. $9 and done! Only less than 1 hours work.
