Muscle car parts sold me a plastic door handle instead of a metal one... i will never buy a single thing from them again.

my reasons for buying these are the same, guards not straight, minor denting etc, will post up on Thurs how they fit etc (day off), the finish on them is good.

ah ok, well I cant weld so I was only looking into replacing panels that are bolt off bolt on. eg
doors
bonnet
tailgate
maybe quarters

My reasons arent so much mine having rust but more not worth the time straightening/fixing dents etc if you can replace whole panel for ~$100

Most of the panels come from the same Taiwanese supplier. Ive bought a stack of sills from Tony at muscle car and they fit OK but im yet to see a Taiwan panel that fits perfect,especially the guards they are pretty hit and miss.Sometimes better to buy the ebay patch panels and repair the originals.

They have arrived, look okay, will know if they fit later, lots and I do mean lots of packing.

Both companies seem good to deal with and their prices are fine.
My concern is purely the mods required to fit
Since I intend to DIY and im an amateur I want bolt off bolt on only. Cutting and welding is a deal breaker, if thats required id be better of fixing the original panels

the only thing to watch out for is the freight quote, I was quoted one price so i spent up thinking geez that's good, only to have after agreed to purchase the freight price increase by $110, the guy from muscle cars (Tony) wrote that he meant 2 packages at $70 each, and that he'ld made a mistake and under quoted by $40 as well, so instead of $70 it became $180 - which meant that my budget was shot and if I'ld have known I'ld have bought less. He did offer to cancel the whole transaction but I want the parts so said bugger it.

I've ordered a shipload of panels, basically a new front end from muscle cars, I'll let you know if I do or dont have any drama's with them
