You guys get all the fun. All we get is over the top prices and the "I run the wreckers" attitude.

Our pick a part all you can carry was 10 metres from one line to the next pure lifting no draggin anything of course.
I took an Alfa LSD diff complete and each side with 2 overlapped seat covers each filled with distributors, carbs and other bits Id stashed away in cars before the day came. I watched a guy carry a holden 186 which took surely gave him future back issues. I however had a kidney belt that just missed my belly button but after 2 years I found out I had an umbilical hernia from some kind of strain which did relate to that all you can carry special. I found out after the doctors discovered it after Laparoscopic surgery for appendicitis (which lead to Peritonitis due to not wanting to be treated till I couldnt move anymore then gave in but looked like death and needed long medication or die) where the belly button is one entry point. So be careful even with kidney belts crap happens! :)

I remember years ago we had something like this at western port wreckers and 1200rallycar found a 4speed toploader in a car and the owner and his mates go na you can't have that in cash and carry but he said it was in the yard and that's what the rules stated, after removing it he tied a seatbelt around it and picked the fn thing up and carried it to the boot of his car!! The owner was pissed that he made it across the line! Lol

I went there and got the front seat/ hatch struts/carpet and 2 rear vision mirrors/ and untold number small screws and small lights and fuese. My younger mate (I'm 60 he's 55 haha )were happy with our lot.
It was interesting to see differant way's people got their BOOTY to checkout. One bloke who wanted plastic bumper from holden lay it on ground and was puting blinkers, wirelooms, steering wheel, etc and kept lifting it to see HIS carrying limit.
While 2 others blokes who were striping a HONDA sports model(not sure which) took the ROOF LININGS from 2 other wrecks and layed them on the ground like bedsheets and filled with head and tail lights/ dash instruments/wirelooms ect untill they both had a large parcel to carry and parted with $50 each.
When talking in the outside carpark the smiles on their face said they were very happy camper . I hope member from here were as lucky .Cheers Baz
