Hi Dan, I used the factory rails, used some flat plate 5mm thick to go between seat rails as to bridge the factory rails, and then welded on 40mmx40mm box section bolted up through that and into the base of the seat on both sides the flat plate bolts to the factory rails so you can still slide drivers side forward and back for adjustment pass fully welded as no slides, on the northside of bris vagas if you want to come have a look contact number is 0401717000

hi dan, i had these and they are a great fit for the 1200 ute. i changed over to these, r100 sky, (link below).

They are a touch wider but much easier to get in and out of and they look a hell of alot nicer.

Hay Dandatto, i have these in my 1200 ute and they are fantastic im 5/10 and have good leg room before you put the drivers side in get an upolsterer to put a strip of lether down the side you get in and out off they wear quite quikly, and i raised mine up off the standard seat rails about 30mm got mine from revolution racegear on the sunny coast for $500 each about three months ago hope this helps

I currently have these seats setup for my ute, still being built so they have only been dry fit.. I reckon these seats are the smallest you can get and are a pretty snug fit.. and if your a small guy go for it. If you are a bigger guy sparco have some other options that will be a little bigger but still fit..
