That didn't hit because the tyre was too tall, that was because the track was substantialy increased with both Stanza struts, LCA, and 13x7 -7 wheels. It didn't foul there with the same tyre on a 13x6 +19 Globe.

The 205/60x13 tyre used there is the same height as the 6.00 R12 tyre the Datsun 1200 had as original equipment. The change to radial tyres saw them use the smaller diameter 155SR12 for some reason. This is why the speedo reads fast witht he standard tyres and ismuch more accurate with the 205/60 tyre. The car was originally designed for this height tyre.

Thank you for the replies, Actualy a i have a R12 175mm 75 and it is dificult to buy tires for this wheels, i other way a would like to buy a new wheels.

According some answers +5 offset R13 175mm 60 or a R14 175mm 50 fits great with no problem. Dont toutch in a standardr body neither in fenders. It is correct.

Many thanks

Apparently a +5 offset wheel with 165-wide tires will fit front and rear with stock body and will not rub at all.

If you go to 0 offset, then it will rub a little on bumps depending on the overall height of tire. For example 165/75R14 may rub while 165/50R14 may be just fine. In this case you can slightly flare the fenders (guard Rolling).

No spacers nor longer studs are required to fit 13", 14" or 15" wheels.

Spacers are needed if the wheel is the wrong offset.

For 12" diameter 6" wide wheels (which are approximately 178mm overall width/7" overall width), if those fit, so will ANY 13", 14" or 15" wheel of the same width and offset.

While the wheel fits, care needs to be taken not to fit a tyre of excessive height. For example, 185/60R15 tires are more than 2" taller than stock size 12" tires. And 205/60R13 are less than 1" taller than stock.

Hi Luigi

the answer is 'it depends upon the actual wheels you have in mind'

Best way to find out would be to talk to your local tyre store and talk about an actual example of what you want
