I think the 120y has a larger tunnel to suit either gearbox. You are pretty much going to need to find a b110, b210, b310 auto gearbox.

Hey guys,, m wanting to convert my datsun 120y from manual transmission to automatic,, wat other gearbox are compatible with a datsun a12 engine ?? and is it true dat a toyota 3AU engine air condition system bolts on to a a12 engine ???
