Thats normal operation..
Just put the indicator stalk to the high beam position and the low beams go off leaving only the parks going..

Gday all, So as part of a roadworthy my 1200 coupe must have working park and headlights. Both work but the headlights are coming on when i try to switch just the park lights on. The 2 stage light switch (off > park > lowbeams )clearly has the 2 distinct switch areas and it appears to be working fine with the exception that the first click is turning on both the parks and lowbeams. Anyone have any idea where this might be caused? The switch or a relay? A wiring issue? I have 6 days before it goes for return inspection any help is greatly appreciated.
