I just noticed according to Pitroad that Nismo used to sell a "4.25" ratio H150 gearset. Perhaps that's what is in your H150 carrier. The flanges probably interchange too.

Looks like an H145 flange. Bolt pattern is 36 x 50 mm for the H145. The crown wheels are almost identical, only 5mm difference.

The gearset may be aftermarket. Back in the day, several companies made gearsets for Datsuns.

Some Toyota AE86 LSD fits into a H165 diff with modification, could the carrier be from an AE86 or something?

I didn't say it was a legitimate Datsun diff. I've never seen nor heard of a 4.27 and it's not in any Datsun documentation as far as I know. But that's a great ratio in my opinion.

Can you post photos of the differential assembly front and rear?

Or at least measure the crown wheel. 145mm for H145, 150mm for H150.

I haven't ever heard of that ratio.

I also haven't before seen the numbers presented with just the single decimal rather than the typical dot, dot :

Interesting. Possibly from a hitachi unit off something different altogether.
