hey mate thanks for the detailed reply, ill be running 13x8's on the back hopefully once she is on the road, and can save some coin for some good rims. Ill be running s13 silvia brakes and discs on the front, probably with a DIY coilover kit and strut topes as well, so id imagine the 8's on the front with some guard work and negative camber will pull it under nice. as you said though could possibly hit the strut...stretchin gthe tires on there, not too much, is a must i think.

15x7 +0 is an easy fit under 120Ys just with lipped gaurds
15x8 +0 is no real problem on the back and might be do-able on the front - I'd have to check the measurements I took off mine... I think I was factoring in the 8mm S13 disc when working out what would fit. I'll check tonight.
Do you have standard struts and brakes?

Some examples in the wheel database thread

My current 2dr sedan has 14x6 -7 and 14x6.5 -15 (with the 15mm spacers) stock diff, struts&brakes and lipped gaurds.

Compared to that, the outer edge of 15x7 +0 will be about 9mm further in on the back and about 6mm further out on the front. They'll fit easy.

15x8 +0 outer edge would be about 4mm further out on the rear. Not a difficult fit with 195 or 205/50s. You can expect some rubbing on big bumps occassionally though. The inside clearance shouldn't be a problem unless you have really soft suspension.
On the front a 15x8 +0 will be about 19mm further out. That's not too much of an issue with some mild gaurd work and a 195/50. The question mark is about the inner edge clearance to the strut as I mentioned before...

yeh about 7 inch or so depending on what offset they come in, and what lip size i end up with, maybe a bit wider if they will fit. not 100% of what people have put under rolled 120y guards though.

ive got some 13x8's I will be able to trial soon to get an idea, so they should get the ball rolling

Hi guys just wondering if 15s fit a 120y reasonably comfortably with a strectched tyre? I'm yet to to do measurements but just wanted to see what combos people have run.

im looking at getting a set of work meister cr01's, theyre a 15 with plenty of offsets available and im in love with them, even better if someone has a pic of a y with them on it.

thnaks josh
