The inside diameter of the gland nut matches the inserts. Genuine Nissan inserts come with new nuts.
If you bought VW inserts the VW nuts might fit.

Im after the nuts too hold down gas inserts for nissan stanza struts..The origanal diameter nuts off the wet legs from inside to inside is 41mm,i need 43mm with the same thread..i know i could prob get the 1mm circumference machined to make 43 but just wondering if there would be a nut to match wthout machining...any help would be much appreciated.cheers
