there are good reasons for the popularity of SRs and the like.

perhaps you should take a little breather from trying so hard to be different and looking down your nose scornfully at all the "sheep", to think about that for a minute.

Lagsie, I never expect my opinion to suit everyone especially the sheepish. I didtnt expect you to chime in protecting the SR like I scorn Zatch always same BS from you.

Edit: earlier on I said the SR solves the issues for some builds but its not the be all and end all so Hazza dont put works in my mouth without reading or understanding my previous post. You are a pesty tart.

Man you talk some #OOPS# d. Your opinion funnily enough won't suit everyone, and really how are you so offended by a phrase in jest about Mazda head thing and it's not #OOPS#ing yours! And the motor he's not talking about is his!

He posted a link about a nissan motor and said have a read. Don't if you don't want to

Argh the smell continues datsunbogan - The mazda head is on a Datsun A block original not a toyota donk in a datsun which is single neuron material but judging the bogan comments you make nothing more is expected of your measly scone.

nismo1 you said "No mazda heads or any frankenstein moves" nothing else like its been bothering you that someones done that, so you need something that usual sheep do by praising the common. Please go the SRVE in a GX no ones is stopping you in your dreams, goodnight and enjoy this video it might help you understand why some of us love datsuns - http://youtu.be/qzpJb-_VJ50

OK don't think it's me to argue cos as you have seen i read all build posts and have never given comment about any build cos i feel the builder can do whatever he wants AND as i noted I quite like his ''different'' A series.I don't even comment when s/body posts s/thing thats old news[seen before] cos maybe there's s/one that has'nt seen it.The only reason for this post was---reading material for members.Don't think the maz/dat dude is going to be upset and if he is this is for him '' dude no harm intended your motor looks great and as i said i quite like it --please don't make ANY ASSUMPTIONS it LOOKS great and i applaud you [build one for me while you about it] and don't give D any info cos he's just plain nasty dissing me when all i wanted to do was give the chaps s/thing to read at night-- i hate logging in and not having anything to read-- this is also the reason that JMAC is THE GUY cos he writes long essay's and i get to read about all his exp. cheers calling it quits lol

are you retarded?

You hate on a Toyota engine in a Datsun then jizz your pants over a Mazda head on #OOPS#ty datsun block with even #OOPS#ter plastic gearbox behind it with ewp, disco radiator hose/pipes and bunky ignition lol

Go have another bong mate lol!

Credit where its due, the bloke has done a ripper job and unlike yourself has actually accomplished something rather than dribbling #OOPS# on a forum for the past 11 years.

Datsunbloke you are an inbred bogan a sad pathetic hater you put a toyota motor in your datsun thinking you are cool you are even more pathetic when so many nissan choices are possible.

Lagsie and Nissie, I actually love the SRVE variety not the SR20DE/T but if you put a SRDET in a 1600 four door no harm done heaps of those things around unlike a 510 coupe. Yet to say its the VE is only engine for your datsuns is a big arrogant call no hate there but when you label a Mazda head effort of Rob I see that as disrespectful cause at least he bothered to share real work. Rob had his reasons and should also be made to feel like he belongs without comments like that. Its good to see variety and different approaches to rides and over the years we missed a chance on someone sharing info on the E series head on the A series block due to labeling and opinions that drove the owner away for good.

if you love to see a GX with the SRVET go for it Nismo1 its your dream thats your thing but not many traditionalist GX owners would agree.
