See our club tech article EFI.

If you are a do-it-yourself person, i'd suggest MegaSquirt as the most flexible ECU. It can use any distributor, but an EI distributor is recommended for reliability (there are several factory A-series electronic distributors to choose from or you can convert an E15/E16 or Bluebird dizzy). MegaSquirt can use Datsun injectors like the 280Z injectors that were used in the factory A14E efi engine.

If you're after some reading to get an understanding of how all the pieces fit together here's a good resource http://www.megamanual.com/index.html. The people on this forum will be able to help with specifics. The website above has guides on throttle body sizes, injector sizes etc. An even easier way is to just grab stuff off similar sized engines.

There's so many different ways to do it that will work. I'm using:

CBR1000rr injection throttle bodies with stock injectors on a custom manifold
Megasquirt II
EDIS ignition (ford trigger wheel setup)
Custom surge tank with a fuel pump fitted inside it.

It's not running yet but slowly getting there. There's heaps of info in the TechWiki as well.
