Diffs usually last years with a bit of a hum

Definitely cheaper, faster, easier and more reliable to swap ina good used diff head. The Forums have many reports of home rebuilt ones gone bad. Or pay a prro to do it.

I had to replace the seal in diff on my B310 sunny this week But my mechanic said be very careful
Or could destroy the bearing well I think it went ok did not over tighten the nut.
But when I drove the home it does now have a Hum noise its not loud But I thinking if the Bearing will give some day How much would it cost to rebuild the diff?
Or just get a new center
