Yes i think Hitachi sidedraught fuel bowls can be rotated to various positions.

doesn't the fuel bowl pivot on these carbs? so to some degree it wont matter what angle you mount them at.

Blow through is a great idea. For one, it allows an intercooler to be safely used. See Turbo for various opinions.

Does anyone know at what angle the carbs mount? No?? Nobody??

Its a shame about the blow through not being such a good idea with the twins. And I was actually leaning towards the idea, convincing my brother of how convenient it would make things when building a smooth intake box that simply bolts straight to the inlet flanges of the carbs....

Well more than enough reason to put my other 205's back on the front. (I am ashamed to say needed one as a spare for another one of my toys)

Yep too stiff suspension in rear compared to up front. The loss of grip would add to the break in traction causing under over under steer possibly. Get some 185 60 13 on front maybe and stiffer spring in front

Hey mate. Can't help with the first or third questions but I have tried a blow through system in the past and did not like it at all. I could be a lil bias after working with jap cars so much but it was a lot of hassle to get it to run right.
In my opinion upgrade to something efi ;)

- Anyone know off the top of their head at what angle the twin Hitachis mount to the intake manifold and if the carbs' flanges for the air cleaner are indeed parallel to flanges bolting to the intake? (Perfectionist here and I don't trust my eyes when it comes to degrees...)

- Brother wants to try blow-through setup on these very Hitachi's. Good idea? Bad Idea?

- And lastly my tyres are slightly oversized (205/60/R13 Rear - 175/70/R13 Front). In even the slightest of corners she tends to understeer, suddenly grip, and then massive oversteer. I keep cheking tyre pressure and I'm not sure what its supposed to be anymore. Might the stiffer rear suspension (Extra leaf and gas shocks) be throwing me off?

Thanks in advance.
