This is a unmachened h89 you can see in the left hand corner top of the head that little square bit is not been milled while you look at yours its all shiny and flat where the head mills got it

Like I said its 74mm thickness. Non machined thickness according to the wiki. Unless someone can re confirm this 100% until then it's not been machined. I have 3 heads at exactly the same thickness. So I doubt they all have been machined exactly the same amount.

This is on ebay says its been unmachined I can see its been machined and you can tell

I doubt they were all identical,who knows the history of these heads there 30 odd years old now

The extra meat around your head bolt holes looks a lot more than 1.3mm compared to mine. I'm sure they all weren't made identical.

I've got 3 heads here. An a12 and 2 h89 all three measure 74mm.

My H89 head measures at 75.3 So perhaps we need some clarification although wiki is fantastic it's not always 100% correct,that's why it gets up dated between your head and mine there is over 40thou difference cheers
