Without a turbo, to get the most will cost about $5000 including custom forged dome pistons, 14:1 compression, ported A12GX cylinder head with 37mm valves fitted, a crank scraper and rev it to 8500 rpm. About 155 HP.

There is only one choice to keep it as original as possible: an original style A12 engine and 4-speed.

If you don't mind modifying it and getting engineers certificate, an A14 or A15 will make it as sprightly as a new economy car.

Hi guys I'm a new member and the proud new owner of a 73 Datsun Coupe
It hasn't got an engine or trans and wanted to get some advice about good options engine wise?
Im wanting to restore the car and keep it as original as possible, but want it to haul ass as well.
